I hung back as the bride walked through the crosswalk on her way to her first look with her groom on her wedding day. The ceremony was being held at Sanctuary on Penn but the couple had chose the Central Library for their first look. My second photographer was with the groom while I walked with the bride. She looked stunning, the sweetheart cutout in the back of her wedding dress, the wind blowing her dress. I hung back to capture the moment.
This is not posed, this is the actual moment the bride crossed the street. That is what photojournalism looks like, a real moment turned into a memory and a piece of art.
