While walking around the area near Highland Park on East New York Street in Indianapolis during this engagement session our bride-to-be spotted this rainbow painted on a wall across the street from where we were. When our couples see something they like we are so excited to try to create something fun and beautiful with it. We were so thrilled with the image that we were able to produce for this couple. Indianapolis is full of fun backdrops and many areas of the city have fun painted murals, there is always something to work with.
This is the art of posing without looking or feeling posed, we use prompts. I walk my couples through a series of fun movements and we are able to create images that look like this. I am not the type of photographer that is going to tell you exactly how to stand, hold your hands a certain way, etc. At the end of the session I want my couples to remember how much fun they had, not how their photographer made them stand.
