The bride from this September wedding at the Indianapolis Zoo bought her groom and future father-in-law watches as wedding gifts. This couple had opted not to do a first look and therefore were not going to see each other before the ceremony. I had the honor of delivering the watches and photographing the two men recieving them for the bride to see when her gallery was delievered. This is the groom fastening the brown leather band of the watch to his wrist. I am positive that he will treasure this gift from his wife forever.
The groom wore a blue suit with a very light blue shirt, tie, and pocket square from Men's Warehouse. He is already mic'ed up for the ceremony so that all friends and family could hear him say his vows.
Capturing the wedding day details is important because it helps to tell the story of what is the biggest day of our couples lives to date. One day this watch could be passed down through generations and we captured the moment he first put it on his wrist. There are other photos that capture the groom's face and his reaction, this photo tells the story of the watch his bride put so much thought into choosing for the man she will spend the rest of her life with.
