On her wedding day this bride walked down the staircase in the historic Benton House in Irvington. Both the bride and groom love the history of this town and the neighborhood east of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
Benton House is French Mansard design and has been restored to the 1900 period style that would have been used when Dr. Benton and his wife lived in the home. The hanging staircase the bride is walking down is one of two left in the Indianapolis area. The house is maintained by the Irvington Historic Landmarks Foundation and all proceeds from rentals go to maintaining the property.
Location: 312 S Downey Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219.
