This is the moment no one else saw.
During the blessing before dinner on this couple's wedding day at The Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, every head was bowed, every eye closed, and the bride and groom reached for each other under the table. Their hands found one another instinctively, fingers interlocking in a way that said everything words couldn’t: gratitude, excitement, and the deepest kind of calm. They had no idea my second photographer was there, crouched low at the edge of the head table, capturing this private detail they didn’t even know was happening until they opened their gallery weeks later.
The Garden Pavilion at The Ritz Charles is perfect for moments like this. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap the room, letting soft natural light pour in and bathing everything in the most flattering glow. The result is intimate, emotional, and completely unposed.
As your wedding photographer, these are the images I hunt for all day: the ones you didn’t know you needed until you see them. The quiet hand-squeeze during prayer, the stolen glance across the altar, the tear wiped away when you think no one is looking. The Garden Pavilion’s abundant light and elegant simplicity make finding them effortless. There’s no harsh overhead lighting to fight, no distracting patterns to compete with, just a clean, beautiful space that lets real emotion shine.
At The Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion, the big moments are breathtaking. But the quiet ones? Those are the ones that live in your heart forever.
I’ll be watching for both.
