5395 Emerson Way, Indianapolis, IN 46226
This Indianapolis wedding venue feels more like stepping into a love story already in progress. Built in 1916 as the private estate of Stoughton Fletcher, this Gothic Tudor mansion sits on 6 private acres in the heart of the city yet feels like a secret European château hidden behind ivy-covered stone walls. From the moment you wind up the tree-lined drive, and the mansion’s turrets appear, you understand why couples lose their hearts here.
Every corner of Laurel Hall was designed for beauty, and every corner photographs like a dream. The architecture is dramatic yet warm with hand-carved limestone fireplaces, leaded-glass windows, dark walnut paneling, and soaring oak beams. Your images feel timeless, whether you’re going for old-world romance, modern elegance, or boho whimsy. The estate gives you three ceremony spaces, five portrait locations that feel completely different from each other, and light that changes gorgeously from dawn until well after dark.
The grand foyer and double staircase. This is where every jaw drops. The twin curved staircases wrap around a massive stone fireplace under a 40-foot ceiling. First looks on the stairs are my absolute favorite: the groom waiting at the bottom, the bride descending slowly while her veil trails behind her like something out of a fairy tale.
The solarium with it's floor-to-ceiling arched windows, terra-cotta tile floors, and climbing ivy makes this glass-walled room feel like an Italian greenhouse. Indoor ceremonies here glow.
The lawn and front circle. Perfect for sparkler exits. The mansion’s façade with its turrets and ivy is the ultimate backdrop.
The terrace. Your ceremony, cocktail hour, or an elegant dinner. Your guests will feel like they have been transported to a European villa.
Laurel Hall gives you exclusivity. No other events. All the spaces are yours.
If you want wedding photos that look like they belong in a storybook. If you want a venue that makes your guests gasp and your images timeless, Laurel Hall is it.
Laurel Hall starts at $6,000, depending on the day and season. It gives you one hour of rehearsal time prior to your wedding day, as long as they have availability. And I already know every secret corner, every pocket of perfect light, and every way to make this historic estate fall in love with you the way you’ve fallen in love with it.
