The historic Lilly House is located on the property in the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park and while photography is not allowed inside the building the outside is stunning in both the front and the back. The estate was built in 1913, sits on 32 acres, and was designated a national historic landmark in 2003. It is the perfect example of the 19th and 20th century country house movement. The space as it is now has been restored closely to it's appearance in the 1930s.
You can capture wedding photos at Newfields even if you aren't getting married there and the location is also lovely for capturing engagement photos for a $50 fee.
